The Legal Media Group has announced that its The International Trade & Shipping Expert Guide for 2019 named seven Freehill partners as the experts in the field of maritime law. Those selected were: Thomas Canevari, Michael Fernandez, Peter Gutowski, William Juska, Wayne Meehan, Don Murnane and Gina Venezia. The Expert Guides nomination process is run in four stages: general nomination, independent research, candidates selection, and shortlisting. Legal practitioners are approached in more than 90 jurisdictions seeking nominations of leading practitioners from outside their own firms. Reasoned nominations are requested and once candidates have been selected telephone interviews are conducted with a select group of advisers.
