On November 1, 2019 U.S. News & World Report and Best Lawyers® announced their “Best Law Firms” rankings for 2020. WHO’S WHO LEGAL RECOGNIZES SIX FREEHILL PARTNERS – OCTOBER 2019

PARTNER GINA VENEZIA LISTED AMONG TOP WOMEN ATTORNEYS IN METRO NEW YORK
On March 26, 2017 the New York Times published the list of Top Women Attorneys in Metro New York, as compiled by the editors of Super Lawyers. Freehill Partner Gina Venezia was one of only three women listed in the “Transportation/Maritime” field. Ms. Venezia was first named to the list of New York Super Lawyers in 2009. That annual list is comprised of no more than 5 percent of the eligible attorneys in the region.

The list of Top Women Attorneys is based on a statewide nomination process, followed by independent research and the additional evaluation by a panel of peer attorneys in the same practice areas.

PARTNER TOM CANEVARI RECOGNIZED BY CLIENT CHOICE
On February 9, 2017 Freehill partner Tom Canevari was named as the exclusive winner of the 2017 Client Choice Award for New York in the field of Shipping and Transport Law.  Attorneys can only be nominated for the Client Choice Awards by in-house corporate counsel, and winners are selected based on client reviews. Client Choice was established  in 2005, and recognizes law firms and partners worldwide who stand apart for their excellent client care and for the quality of their service.
