For the tenth consecutive year Chambers USA has ranked Freehill Hogan & Mahar in the top tier of national maritime law firms. Chambers USA 2014, released on May 23, 2014, once again lists the firm in the top tier nationally, where FHM is joined by only one other firm. In addition to again ranking the firm No. 1, Chambers has singled out 31 shipping attorneys as “Leading Individuals” and six, more than from any other firm, are FHM partners: Peter Gutowski, Bill Juska, Eric Lenck, Wayne Meehan, Don Murnane, and Gina Venezia. Chambers USA’s profile of FHM quotes a client as stating of the firm: “They think with you to help you reach the appropriate decision under the circumstances, where both legal interests and business interests can co-exist and thrive.”
