Ms. McLaughlin has been working in legal firms since 1996. She started as a secretary right after high school, and in 1999, she obtained a certificate in Legal Secretarial Studies with Paralegal Studies from a vocational school in Hackensack New Jersey. Over the years, she has worked as a legal secretary for various plaintiff law firms in New Jersey, gaining experience in multiple fields of law, including personal injury, workers’ compensation, criminal law, and general civil litigation.

In 2017, Ms. McLaughlin returned to school and earned a college degree and a diploma as a paralegal. In 2022, she joined Freehill, Hogan & Mahar, where she acquired a comprehensive knowledge of New York State court practices and procedures, particularly in personal injury cases, and assists attorneys with various aspects of civil case management.
